I would like to say that those of you who signed up for this and didn't make an effort to show up missed an amazing day. Considering the fact that this event was for Charity and all the staff concerned and the bands themselves had given up their time and effort totally free of charge, I think it t be in very poor taste to not acknowledge it in any way. Whilst I love organising events for you guys, it can be very demoralising when no one else can be bothered.

Take more than that hon, so no worries. As you know, I have before and intend to host as many as I can at the White Lion again anyway, cos I 100% believe in what this charity does, and may even do them a couple of freebies myself.

I've sent emails out to the repeat no-showers for recent events, including this one, over the last few days plus as you'll have seen I also sent a reminder about our no-show rule to everyone.
Always a shame when there are no-shows - but sounds like you had a good time

Though it's a free event it has fencing around it and specific entrances to the event which are manned - last year they didn't allow dogs into the event areas. Have fun!

Would have liked to join you guys for this but can't make this Sunday-have fun!

Just a reminder that this group has no-show policy, as below: In order to provide a place for all interested members & to be fair to the hosts & to the venues, there is a no show rule for our meetups:

    - if you have RSVP'd yes and don't show up or
    - if you change your RSVP from yes to no within 12 hours before the meetup takes place

you get 1 no-show point. Once you have reached 3 points within one year the meetup organisers have the right to exclude you from the group, should they choose to do so.

Also, if you are a no-show to an event then the host of that event has the choice to exclude you from their future events if they wish; hosts are not paid for their time, they give up their own time to organise & hosts events so it is extremely frustrating when there are no shows.

This rule is here so everyone can enjoy the events - you and the hosts - it's common courtesy to let hosts know if you can't make an event - so please ensure you keep your RSVP up to date.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
