Drinks (and snacks) @ The Little Bar, Tooting

The new and quirky Little Bar on the corner of Mitcham Road and Church Lane in Tooting is getting good reviews, so why not suss it out with friends! They offer a small but select range of classic cocktails, local beers and ciders and, of course, wines. They also do a range of snacks such as hams, salamis, Spanish cheeses, olives etc. The bar is quaint and cosy and they have a small garden area out back if the weather stays nice.

Join us from 7pm for a relaxed evening of after work drinks, snacks and chats supporting local small businesses.

I'm keeping the numbers fairly low due to the nature of the venue, so please keep your RSVP up to date.

"Independent wine bar serving great old-fashioned drinks, good wines and cold bar snacks including cheese and charcuterie. Pretty garden for summer drinking."

"In the fast up and coming area of Tooting, The Little Bar is leading the way. It's a tiny gem of a bar serving great old fashioned drinks - think aperol spritzes, negronis and Americanos - alongside a selection of independently-sourced wines, craft ales and food including charcuterie, terrine and cheeses. There's a zinc bar, marble tables and fan-backed bentwood barstools and the back bar is ingeniously crafted from old scaffolding boards and copper piping. The bar seats about 30 people and there's also a pretty secret garden out the back seating a further 25." Fluid London (Full review http://www.fluidlondon.co.uk/venue/tooting/the-little-bar-sw17)

Thanks Kathryn. Sorry I didn't stay late, just a bit off colour at the moment and I don't do well on no supper! Really enjoyed Paul's drunken card trick. I think tricks are better when they go wrong! (twice). Good to see others I haven't seen for a while: May, Shirley, Sarah, Steff, film talk with Michelle and general banter with Soraya.
Good bar, shame no food on the night!

Fun interesting bar with some unusual drinks mixes - pity they didn't forewarn me that they wouldn't be doing food due to the groups in! :( Good night with good company.

Apparently they have 2 groups in tomorrow night - we'll either be at the back or front - will post here when I find out where we have been allocated. Look forward to seeing familiar faces again and meeting everyone new!

Sorry but I don't think I can make this meetup. At least I have now made space for someone else to take my place.
