World Series of Spades Tournament @ Brickstone Grill - Presented by The Mancave

Hey guys! For our first meetup in February we’ll be attending the World Series of Spades Tournament taking place at the Brickstone Grill (formerly Razzles) on Midlothian Turnpike on Saturday, February 16!

This event is being hosted by The Mancave Project, which is ran by our fellow spades players, Anthony, Jason and JaJuan. The ManCave Project is committed to service and the community, so a portion of the proceeds from the tournament will be donated to The Children’s Hospital of Richmond. You can either enter to play in the tournament or come to watch, relax and have fun. DJ LUXXLIFE will be playing hits for you to dance to, and a complementary refreshment table with light food items will be available to all in attendance. If you crave a little more, Brickstone will be fully staffed to take your orders from the Grill or the Bar.

Prizes will be given to the First and Second place teams, so here’s your chance to not only talk about how good your spades game is, but to show it! Official rules will be given to the teams when they register and are also available by clicking HERE. The entry fee is $40 per team. You must arrive by 5:30p to check-in. Space in this tournament is limited, so please sign up TODAY. Walkups may be permitted on the day of the event if space allows.

To register visit The Mancave’s website or go to their Meetup event page. You can also click HERE to print an entry form. Please note however that the Central VA Spades Players is not accepting registration or entry fees on their behalf, only participating in the event. Please RSVP on our page if you are attending, but still register with The Mancave.

This event is free to attend if you’re not going to play in the tournament. If you can’t attend but would still like to donate to the fundraiser, visit www.themancaveproject.com. Online donations will be added to the event proceeds that will go to benefit The Children’s Hospital of Richmond.

Hope to see you there!

I will need a partner if anyone needs one. Also I noticed you have added the jokers back in on the rules. Is this so?

Randy, yes after questions from potential players it was clear that many people prefer to play with jokers so yes, we will be playing with jokers. Please come and we'll do our best to find you a partner

Im looking fwd to this, but I will need a partner. I'm a skilled, sometimes trash-talking kind of player (all in fun). So if you can play, we will shut it down!!! :)
