Winnie,

Wonderful!  I got both your email and your voicemail message.  You're perfect for the group, and will fit right in, and provide good interaction with the team.

All of us are in various stages of learning.  Some are pure beginners, others are intermediate (like me), some are advanced, some are people who studied a long time ago and are a bit rusty, and from time to time we have people stop by that have been speaking Spanish from birth.  We also have people of all ages -- from college age (adultos jovenes) to retired (jubilados).  Somehow we mange to be both conversational and educational at the same time.  I look forward to seeing you.

Nos vemos,

Ed Andrews

Dear Ed,

I will try to participate in this group.  The new day and time are much better for me.  I am 63 and it has been a long time since I studied Spanish in school.  Hopefully, you will all be easy on me.  I am planning on going to Spain in September and I hope to do well with my Spanish.  Thanks for having this group.  See you Wednesday.

Hola 'migos.

The votes are in, and it's official:  we're moving the Spanish Meetup to WEDNESDAYS at 6 PM.  Yes, that is both a new day and a new earlier time.  We realize that people have lives, so as we adjust to the new schedule, I hope this makes it easier to stop in some time.

FYI it's my personal goal to add at least 104 new phrases to my vocabulary this year, and though I was distracted by my trips to Memphis and Nashville, etc, and though I'm a bit rusty, I'm still on pace to do better.  I'll keep you posted.

Nos vemos,

Ed Andrews
