El Nuevo Alba

(English translation follows.)

!Vamos a visitarlos!

====================================

A little mom-and-pop shop, it's the best place I've found serving authentic Central American staples (such as pupusas and Salvadoran-style tamales) in the Madison/Inglewood area.  Let's pay a visit!

The restaurant is located on the OLD portion of Old Hickory Blvd. which is actually one block south of Hwy 45 / Old Hickory Blvd.  From Gallatin Rd., turn east onto East Old Hickory (between Hair World Beauty Supply and Reese Food Stores). Look for a big sign that says "Beer & Tobacco." The restaurant is located in the left half of the building. You can park in the lot to the left side of the restaurant.

    do you only meet in the evenings a restaurants? I am trying to learn Spanish before I go to Peru in June 2014. It is difficult for me to meet in the evenings during the week. Do you ever meet for lunches or on the weekends? also I need to interview 3 native speakers for a class I am taking at TSU. would anyone be willing to volunteer for an interview? I would be willing to meet for lunch and I will even buy.

    I thought the food was very good. Also, enjoyed speaking in Spanish to the others who were there. It was a very friendly atmosphere.

    Conversation was pretty good. El Nuevo Alba was physically cold but the human atmosphere was very warm. Mom and pop place.
