Ahora hay otra oportunidad para hablar español--en Mid-City!

This is an exciting opportunity!

The Latino Farmers Cooperative of Louisiana will graciously begin hosting the Mid-City meet-up! The co-op provides adult education and social services to promote immigrants’ successful integration into the greater New Orleans society.  They also offer Spanish-English conversation partners included in the price of their membership. To learn more about the co-op visit these links:

This is a wonderful opportunity for those who speak Spanish but want to improve.

It will be informal but adheres to the group's guiding principles: attendees should already have a basic level of fluency so that the group can maintain conversation in Spanish.

Nos vemos!

PLEASE NOTE that there is a limit to how many can attend.  This is important, so that everyone can have a good experience.  PLEASE, PLEASE RSVP ON OUR MEETUP SITE IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND, IF YOU PLAN TO BRING FRIENDS or IF YOU CANNOT GO.  Your response helps to keep our Meetup active and functional.

I loved the reading! Alan organized a fun round-robin reading of the Little Prince. Good people & a good time in the driving rain.

I'm a pansy. The storm has trapped me indoors. ¡Por supuesto la proxima!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
