Introduction
I am a tenured Professor of Pharmacology at Tulane Medical School and minored in spanish in college. Travel to a spanish speaking country at least once a year, but need to practice my spanish. Will be going to Buenos Aires next month.
Why are you interested in speaking Spanish?
I am not a native speaker for sure. Had hoped to come to Mayas tonight but I guess I am too late.
Would you please post a recognizable photo of yourself? (This is a requirement for this Meetup.)
I have many hispanic friends and travel to spanish speaking countries often.
Our group is not for beginners! Please tell us your level of Spanish fluency and whether you are a native speaker or if you have studied (and for how long) and if you have lived or traveled in Spanish speaking countries. Thanks!
I studied spanish in high school many years ago and studied in college for three years-never became fluent because of my fear of speaking. Have traveled extensively in spanish speaking countries and want to communicate with my hispanic friends in New Orleans. I hope it's not too late (:
