The Cleveland Spanish Language Meetup is a conversation group for those wishing to practice their Spanish. A great way to meet others around Cleveland interested in the language, and in Spanish/Latino culture. The group consists of -- and is open to -- all proficiency levels of speakers.
We meet every Tuesday at 7:30pm, (not just once a month!)
Right now, the group is meeting weekly on the Eastside, in Cleveland Hts at the Phoenix Cafe on Lee Rd south of Cedar.
We also attend a lecture in Spanish at the Cleveland Musem of Art about art, culture, music, dance or poetry called Cafe Bellas Artes every second friday of the month. Afterwards we dine out. We try to go to a spanish language film (if one can be found!) and dinner before or afterwards once a month. On occasion we have have parties if someone volunteers to host. We try to participate in Hispanic events around town also. You can check out our events in our photos files.
If you'd like to suggest your favorite place or offer to host a meetup, please do so on the Message Board.
The Message Board is also open for making others aware of upcoming Spanish-language events, related discussion, or just to say Hello!
