Grammar practice: preterite tense as well as reading/pronunciation practice

Dear All:

Hi! Our next lesson: preterite verb tense and reading practice (where we take turns reading in Spanish).

I did get some cool new grammar books from Amazon and the Cleveland Heights library sale, so I will have some really good resources to share!

Here's how it works:

* RSVP if you want to come. You MUST RSVP so that we can make enough copies of the work we are doing for everyone!

*'We will work together by doing a review of the topic of the evening and some exercises.

* If you cannot make a particular session, but wish to attend regularly, you can e-mail me BEFORE the scheduled session and I will try to make a copy for you and give it to you when next we meet.

Confused? Contact me or catch me on a

Tuesday night!

I also started a message board on our discussions tab with ideas for those who want resources for learning/improving their Spanish. Please share ideas, whatever your own level may be!!!

Wow, that sucks. Cuyahoga County library rooms are free, but they don't have any libraries that are all that close to Phoenix. Beachwood, Maple Hts. and Mayfield look like the closest.

I agree that it is hard to hear in there. I will try the library lady again. There is a cost listed on the library Web site and it is prohibitive. I want to see if we can be exempt. Anyone have other ideas? Another option might be my house, but not until mid-June as I'm shuttling all my classroom stuff home and already have boxes in my living room I need to sort before storing. I'm about five minutes from the coffee shop by car and there's free street parking. For those who don't drive, I could take you over to the coffee shop after the grammar group meets. We could also try sitting outside at the coffee shop and more paired/individual work if we don't have another option next week.
