Irregular Verb Grammar Review and Pronunciation Practice

  • Jun 10, 2014 · 6:30 PM

Dear All:
WE ARE MEETING THIS WEEK IN GARY'S HOUSE AND NOT AT THE COFFEE SHOP! He lives one block from the Phoenix. I will e-mail you the address once you RSVP. Please do so by noon on Tuesday to save us all the headache.

Our next lesson: review of IRREGULAR verbs within sentence structure and reading practice (where we take turns reading in Spanish). Please review the list from Linguasorb (below) and the conjugations for present, preterite, and future. If have been to previous sessions, please bring the handouts with you.

You may want to study/use these sites before Tuesday: http://www.linguasorb.com/learnspanish/most-common-verbs
http://www.123teachme.com/translated_sentences/sp
http://spanish.about.com/od/sentencestructure/
http://www.spanish411.net/Spanish-Sentence-Structure.asp

Here's how it works:
* RSVP if you want to come. You MUST RSVP so that we can make enough copies of the work we are doing for everyone!
*You must also be signed up with the ability to e-mail you so that I can send you the address (which is a private house and, as such, will not be disclosed on the site). If you are not signed up with a link to e-mail you, please e-mail me through my link to get the address.
*We will work together by doing a review of the topic of the evening and some exercises.
* If you cannot make a particular session, but wish to attend regularly, you can e-mail me BEFORE the scheduled session and I will try to make a copy for you and give it to you when next we meet.

Confused? Contact me or catch me on a Tuesday night!

I also started a message board on our discussions tab with ideas for those who want resources for learning/improving their Spanish. Please share ideas, whatever your own level may be!!! http://www.meetup.com/spanish-79/messages/boards/thread/43281992/#[masked]

Cheers,
Norah

P.S. If any of the more fluent and native speakers want to come and assist, I would welcome the help!

    Dear all:
Hi. I don't have my phone right now (for tonight) since a friend is helping me upgrade and it is in the process. If you need to reach me tonight, please email me.

Christopher- hi. I cannot e-mail you as you don't have that set up. Do you need directions for tonight? If so, please e-mail me through my profile page and I will send them to you.
    Cheers,
    Norah

Robbie- hola! Long time no see! Yes, only an hour because I was trying to do something people could do after work and before the 7:30 conversation group. I could do earlier during the summer if consensus. But I usually have links to Web sites and handouts and such to study further at home. I hope you can join us!
