WE ARE MEETING THIS WEEK IN GARY'S HOUSE AND NOT AT THE COFFEE SHOP! He lives one block from the Phoenix. I will e-mail you the address once you RSVP. Please do so by
noon on Tuesday
to save us all the headache. Please note that there will be no GRAMMAR group next week, July 8. Chris will do the following two weeks (7/15 and 7/22) while I am away
Our next lesson: reviewing the present, preterite, and future tenses including those dastardly irregular verbs! And how about some vino with trabalenguas (wine with tongue twisters)? Should make our tongues trip even more!
You may want to study/use these sites before Tuesday: http://www.linguasorb.com/learnspanish/most-common-verbs
It's all about memorization, so you can try writing out some of the verbs on your own, take yourself reading conjugations, etc. Whatever works for you! Here is a video on YouTube about how one person taught himself verb tenses: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDbs73KuuAI&feature=youtube_gdata_player
And if you want to get some tongue twister practice in, try
and search "Spanish tongue twisters" or "trabalenguas.".
Here's how it works:
*RSVP if you want to come. You MUST RSVP so that we can make enough copies of the work we are doing for everyone!
*You must also be signed up with the ability to e-mail you so that I can send you the address (which is a private house and, as such, will not be disclosed on the site). If you are not signed up with a link to e-mail you, please e-mail me through my link to get the address.
Confused? Contact me.
I also started a message board on our discussions tab with ideas for those who want resources for learning/improving their Spanish. Please share ideas, whatever your own level may be!!!
P.S. If any of the more fluent and native speakers want to come and assist, I would welcome the help!
