Hola! I've been trying to learn Spanish on my own off and on for a couple of years but have had a hard time of it. I think that actively learning with others will be much more effective.
Probably a .5 to 1
The group was more advanced than expected so to be honest I was extremely nervous at first, and afraid of people thinking I am stupid. Then I reminded myself that this what Spanish-speaking people go through everyday in America and I needed to just work through my anxieties and get over it! Then everyone was very nice and patient, especially the gentlemen I was sitting beside. Gracias Amigos! It's a great group and just listening to actual conversations is a big help, much more than the recordings I've been using. I recommend this group to any who have interest in learning Spanish, even if you don't know one word. Don't let fear or anxiety keep you away, this a group of good people!
Hi Catherine! We would love to have you join our happy, fun group of women getting fit and healthy. You seem fun too! We meet downtown on Mon. & Wed. at 6pm and Sat. at 9:30am at Franklin Park Conservatory (outside) until it gets cold & then we will move to downtown studio. You are invited to come and try classes for one FREE week. Please let me know when you plan to start. Email me at [masked]. Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks so much! Nancy
As a beginner, you may be interested in the Saturday Spanish meetups which are every Saturday at 11:30 am at the restaurant "Rancho Alegre" on Cleveland Avenue. This is actually a short distance from the Panera in Westerville that you suggested. Rancho Alegre is definitely north of campus! Also, if you cannot make it on Saturdays but would like to post something at Panera, I think that there would be some interest b/c we have met there in the past. Email me back & we can talk!
Welcome and thank you for signing up for the travel group. You are going to love some, no, all of the places we'll talk about traveling to. I look forward to meeting you.
Hello Catherine! I want to personally welcome you to Columbus Hypnosis for Health and Positive Change. You mentioned that meditation can be viewed as a form of self hypnosis (and vice-versa), and I completely agree with your. If you already have experience with meditation, you should find that self-hypnosis and meditation go together very nicely. Thanks for joining and I'm looking forward to meeting you in person January 29. -Jim
Thanks for joining Catherine and we look forward to helping you learn and get strong! Lori and Jeff
Thanks for the welcome! Definitely looking forward to getting to know the group! :o)
