Join us for an early Spring walk through beautiful Patterson Park and through the eclectic shopping area of Highlandtown. We will meet at the Patterson Park Pagoda (which is located in the park just off Patterson Park Ave. between Lombard and Baltimore Sts.) at 11:30 and walk the approximately 35 minutes to one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area, La Sirenita. The restaurant is inexpensive, has good food and drink and a casual atmosphere where you can practice your Spanish and sample delicious food. There is lots of parking in the surrounding neighborhood of Butcher's Hill.
All levels of Spanish are welcome. We almost always have levels from beginners to native speakers so there are always lots of great folks to chat with.
The pace for the walk will be moderate and meandering so don't worry if you haven't been keeping up with your exercise lately. We will keep it causal and friendly and just fast enough to work up an appetite.
Please RSVP if you intend to come and keep you RSVP current so we can let the restaurant know how many to expect. Feel free to bring a friend or two along.
