Join us for a Sunday morning stroll along Baltimore's Inner Harbor to Fells Point where we will have lunch at one of Baltimore best Latino restaurants, Tela Mares (used to be El Trovador). We will meet at the entrance to the Reginald Lewis Museum http://maps.google.co... at the corner of Pratt and President Streets at 11:30 AM. From there we will walk along the harbor to Fells Point and up Broadway until we reach Tela Mares where we will have lunch. The walk is about 35 minutes. The food at Tela Mares is great - a mix of Mexican and Honduran dishes at very reasonable prices. We will walk back to the Museum through Little Italy.
Map of Walking Route
There is a parking lot just across the street from the Reginald Lewis Museum for those who want parking nearby. There is also free street parking in the surrounding neighborhoods. For those who feel they can't walk both ways, the Water Taxi leaves from Fells Point (Thames and Broadway) regularly to take you back to our starting off point.
This is a chance to practice your Spanish, get some exercise, see some areas of Baltimore that perhaps you have not seen before, eat great food, and meet new people. All levels of Spanish speakers are welcome.
We hope to see you there. Please RSVP and keep your RSVP current if you have a change of plans.
