I live in Rockville and work at JHU Applied Physics Laboratory where I am a member of the Hispanic Awareness Club. Through the club, I take an intermediate Spanish class. I began learning Spanish on CDs in my car (listening to the CDs Many times!)
Advanced beginner. I can speak and understand Spanish when it is spoken fairly slowly and well enunciated. My vocabulary is still somewhat limited; however, I know many common words. I know quite a few verbs and their present tense conjugation, both regular and irregular (such as stem changing verbs, hacer, estar, and ser). In the class I am currently taking we are learning past and future tense (preterit and futuro); it is challenging!
I would love to improve my Spanish speaking and comprehension in a fun way. I would also enjoy meeting others who have the same goal. I already know that learning a language with others is very enjoyable: me gusta aprender Espanol!
This was a lot of fun. yo estuve practicando mi Espanol.
