Informal Night of Spanish Conversation & Salsa Dancing

Join us for an informal evening of Spanish conversation, mingling and dancing at Cafe Citron. All levels invited!

Take advantage of the opportunity to meet cool new people, and put your Spanish into practice! At 7:30pm there will be FREE salsa lessons downstairs.

Come ready to rotate around and talk to as many people as you can. We are all friendly and eager to get to know you. This is a very informal gathering so join us! It will provide all of us with the opportunity to practice speaking Spanish in a real setting and get somewhat more acquainted to the Latino culture. Please bring your cameras and feel free to take and post as many pictures as you would like. Help us grow our community. This event will end at 8:00pm but you are free to stay and hang out with people you meet afterward.

Si eres Hispano sientente por favor en confianza de hablar sobre tu pais y tu cultura.

*NEW: For you Citron/Meet Up Veterans, a topic will be introduced to encourage vocabulary augmentation.  For this next meeting try and brush up on your vocabulary pertaining to travel.  Which countries have you been to?  Have you even been to a Spanish speaking country?

This is a free event. If possible, please support this venue by purchasing a drink or an appetizer so that they can continue hosting events like this. They have extended their happy hour and provided us a bartender upstairs so we can enjoy discounted drinks until 8:00pm. We will be located in the upper balcony area directly ahead (past the main bar) as you come in. Happy hour prices include (but are not limited to) $4 margaritas, $5 mojitos, $5 sangria.

Nos vemos!

I can validate those two cents. I am on Duolingo for Spanish and Protuguese. I just wish they had more languages!!! Another FABULOUS platform free of charge if you have a library card or a friend with one, is byki services. The libraries (at least the PG County library) have access to languages learning activities that you would otherwise have to pay for. They are essentially already organized index cards in over 80 languages. check out transparent language or byki.com, but remember, if you want full services for free, you will be prompted to pay unless you have a library card id number that you can type in. Library card is FREEE so I suggest you invest. I'll be at Citron in a bit so if anyone has questions they can ask me there.. too much typing!

My first event with this group was awesome! I met great people and was proud of myself for speaking in Spanish most of the time. The only reason I am short one star is that the space was a bit tight for the size of the crowd..and it started to get noisy to the point of talking over other people.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
