Informal Night of Spanish Conversation & Salsa Dancing

Join us for an informal evening of Spanish conversation, mingling and dancing at Cafe Citron. All levels invited!

Take advantage of the opportunity to meet cool new people, and put your Spanish into practice! At 7:30pm there will be FREE salsa lessons downstairs.

Come ready to rotate around and talk to as many people as you can. We are all friendly and eager to get to know you. This is a very informal gathering so join us! It will provide all of us with the opportunity to practice speaking Spanish in a real setting and get somewhat more acquainted to the Latino culture. Please bring your cameras and feel free to take and post as many pictures as you would like. Help us grow our community. This event will end at 8:00pm but you are free to stay and hang out with people you meet afterward.

Si eres Hispano sientente por favor en confianza de hablar sobre tu pais y tu cultura.

This is a free event sponsored by Spanish Blackbelt Language School. If possible, please support this venue by purchasing a drink or an appetizer so that they can continue hosting events like this. They have extended their happy hour and provided us a bartender upstairs so we can enjoy discounted drinks until 8:00pm. We will be located in the upper balcony area directly ahead (past the main bar) as you come in. Happy hour prices include (but are not limited to) $4 margaritas, $5 mojitos, $5 sangria.

Nos vemos!

I enjoyed the event. I'm a beginner, and the host was painstakingly patient with me as I attempted to communicate in Spanish. The drinks were great!!

Event was nice a lot of people place was crowded, all nice people, staff of the place was really friendly and yes good mojito. It is always way to perfection, I need to ask staff to find out meetup is upstairs, hope this does not discouraged other people. All people had fun my advice is we missed some group game activities, some quiz of the group like ten question will not harm nobody. Salsa lessons was not the best option place was small and crowded i skipped for sake of the space for other people. I had good time explored my Spanish as well as meeting new people it was success for week day will come again preferred in weekend.

Great event, I really enjoyed it. My Spanish needs a lot of work, but everyone was very kind and accommodating

Week nights are hard for me to make, since I am exhausted after work--not to mention that I'm taking on more responsibility. Weekends are usually more open so I'm more likely to make events then. Have fun!
