The Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University is offering six scholarships of $7,500 to $15,000 per year for students who enroll in a full-time, two-year graduate program, which leads to a MSW degree with a Certificate in Child Welfare Practice. Child Protective Specialist and Child Welfare Specialist workers who have been working in ACS for a minimum of two years and have a permanent Civil Service title are eligible to apply.
Trainees need to demonstrate a commitment to the field of child welfare, and a commitment to serving Hispanic families and communities. Bilingual Spanish/English language skills and bicultural Hispanic applicants are preferred. Students will enter Wurzweiler School of Social Work in the Plan for Employed Persons (PEP) program on a full-time basis for two years of course work and two different field placements. For more information and an application call the admissions office,[masked]-0800.
