Join us for an adventure of Spanish and art at one of the finest museums of Spanish art in the world.
This is a tour-class to explore the Hispanic Society of America, with its vast collection of art, sculptures, paintings, textiles, and other important historical and archaeological relics from Spain, Portugal and Latin America.
As part of the lecture on culture and civilization, Jorge will talk about Goya, Velazquez and El Greco and their works at the Hispanic Society. This is a great opportunity to practice converstion in Spanish since we'll have a group discussion after the tour.

WHO: Middle Beginners (level A2) and Up: Tour-class will be mainly in Spanish with English used for clarification and details.

WHERE TO MEET
Once you arrive at the Hispanic Society (see it in a map HERE), walk to the second patio crossing the iron fence. Entrance to museum is some 40 yards into the second patio, over the left. Meet Jorge at the museum's lobby.
AFTER TOUR-CLASS at 2:30pm, and if there is quorum, the group will head to Acapulco Caliente, a very nice restaurant nearby (on Broadway & 144th street) for some food and/or drinks - this is optional, food is not included in the event's cost.
