Empathy Café: Practicing Deep, Non-judgmental Listening

This free 90-minute gathering, led by Susanna Warren (left), is for people who wish to learn and practice deep listening, or "empathy," as we see it in Compassionate Communication: A quality of presence that enables another person to feel deeply heard and seen.

People of all experience levels are welcome to this gathering, ranging from beginners to experienced practitioners. We will have a brief presentation, a demonstration, and then give everyone a chance to practice giving and/or receiving empathy.

You will also have a chance to get to know other people with shared interests, build community, and practice the skills with other participants.

About the host:

Susanna Warren is a Certified Trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Compassionate Communication Center of Ohio since 2010.

Susanna is small business owner and entrepreneur in Central Ohio, and in the past served as a Licensed Unity Teacher with Unity Worldwide Ministries.
