The mind, emotions, body and soul were originally intended to function as one. Sometimes they become separated, which causes an imbalance on one or all levels of our life. This imbalance affects our lives in non-productive ways.
When we are in a state of stress/confusion/fear etc, the energy expressed finds a place to lodge within the physical body, the auras and the spiritual centers of the body - the Chakras. Within them is a record of the life patterns that need expression this life. They reflect how we feel about our self, our place in the world and our environment. They are related to the endocrine glands, and need to be moving to maintain a balance in body, mind, soul and spirit. If stagnant - dis-ease can set in.
When we are stressed over a period of time, the body /mind starts to react and stress becomes a normal way of life. We become numb in our feelings, tense in our bodies and harsh with others and ourselves while cutting our awareness off from the warmth of the Spirit, our true self and love. There are no quick fixes. We must be committed, realistic, patient, dedicated and courageous in facing our self, to release the past and the barriers, and strive to achieving a state of inner balance and peace.
Come join us in a basic understanding of the Chakras and learn ways that we can stimulate balance within.

I could have talked all night about the chakras and bodies of awareness and what keeps us in balance and throws us out of balance. All were very receptive to learning and sharing their wisdom.
