Bournemouth Spiritual Exchange Fortnightly Meetup

This Thursday we'll be putting together a new list of topics for discussion over the coming year, so please come along and give your valuable input. John will be in the chair so I can take a back seat and not unduly influence proceedings ;-) If you can't be there please add any ideas on the Topics discussion forum I set up months ago, or as a comment for this meeting. It's ok if you want to revisit a topic we've already done, and please remember this is your chance to influence how we move ahead... x

.....

Wanna talk spiritual stuff with like-minded people and have a bit of fun at the same time? Then this group is for YOU!!

It's designed to attract spiritual people of all ages and persuasions, and in our fortnightly meetings the atmosphere is SOCIAL and INFORMAL, allowing people time to talk to friends new and old – in deliberate contrast to an evening dominated by a paid speaker. Above all we like to have FUN and not take ourselves too seriously, so we tend to begin and end our meetings at the bar ;-)

Of course the EXCHANGE of ideas and viewpoints to broaden our horizons is important too, so around an hour and a half is set aside during meetings for a discussion chaired by one of the organisers, during which we adjourn to a meeting room with chairs placed in a circle. In some meetings we deliberately discuss specific topics announced in advance (see our discussion board for more details of future topics). Others are much more free flowing and we tend to just see where the energy takes us.

Above all what the members of this group do is 'come from the heart'. Right from day one that's how it worked out, with members opening up to each other about their spiritual thoughts and inclinations in ways they might not with even their nearest and dearest. You're also welcome even if you think you're a 'beginner', because you've probably had just as many lives as any of us ;-)

We really look forward to welcoming you to our shared journey

PS The charge for room hire is currently £50. Suggested payment with normal turnout in the mid-20s is therefore around £2 to cover that cost, collected on the night.

Forgot one thing - thanks to whoever it was had the forethought to make and pass around sweet fudge to us all in this meeting as a prior celebration for St Valentine's Day.
Was it Anita who played cupid chef? Thanks anyway and a wet St Valentine's Day to all - ideal for curling up with your loved one in front of a blazing fire.

What a great idea for Valentine's Day Dave, as soon as we get back home this evening I'll get the log burner fired up and settle down in front of it with the cat ;-)

Good to be with you all tonight - it seems we have decided on quite a few interesting subjects for future discussion.

I promised to post the website for the forms to drop into your GPs to opt out of any commercial use of your medical data.

The forms are here together with a lot of other info too.

Sorry but can't make your meetings anymore - as I now have to drive my daughter each week to her Drama group in Southampton and can't be in 2 places at once - sadly !! :(

Sorry we'll not be enjoying your company, but perhaps when your daughter is a fully trained drama queen you'll be ale to re-join us :-) Take care.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
