The Turning of the Ages


If you're not studying the subject, it can be quite difficult to imagine the degree to which Life on Earth is transforming. Please trust me when I say these are times of prolonged radical change. The changes that are affecting religious, governmental, political, economic and social institutions have their origin at a much deeper Cosmic level than these obvious Earthly effects. These changes are part of a long cycle of major transformation on Earth that spans the window of time from now through the year 2024, yet it continues for long after that.

In Shamanic Astrology we refer to this as "The Turning of the Ages". We have arrived at the end of a 26,000-year(!) cycle on Earth and the beginning of a radically new cycle of 26,000 years. Presently we are in the very early stages of this monumental change, and in this stage we are challenged to transform the four cornerstone arenas of our lives -- (1) One's Personal Identity (who we consider ourselves to be), (2) Home-Family-Roots, (3) Partnerships and Relationships (of all kinds) and, (4) Right Livelihood. These four combine to form a powerful foundational paradigm in our world that determines the status of all the other areas of our lives, and it is these four that are presently in a state of rapid transformation. This is happening on personal, national and international levels. We'll take a look at this fifteen-year window of time, and we'll discuss ways to embrace, rather than resist, this natural Universal cycle of change.

Then, with the goal of increasing our understanding of how to navigate these turbulent waters (and hopefully have fun doing so!), we'll focus on the twelve Cosmic archetypes (the twelve astrological "signs") as we experience them in our individual, personal lives, how they relate to one another in our human experience on Earth, and how we can integrate and express all twelve in a way that facilitates our successful passage through this collective transformation and forward into the dawning of the new Aquarian way of being on Earth. It is a journey each of us must make and Shamanic Astrology offers a unique and powerful perspective on each individual Soul's journey in these strange times where we must Expect the Unexpected!

All my life I have been a devout seeker of The Meaning of Life. This search has taken me into ever-deepening levels of spirituality including a broad range of metaphysical studies. Along the way I have worked as a television director, newspaper editor, advertising designer, co-producer co-moderator of a weekly radio program, co-founder of a non-profit organization, and more. I currently live in Sedona, Arizona where I engage in a full-time astrology counseling practice with clients around the world.
