We practice yoga postures with an emphasis on inner stillness and meditation. It lasts an hour and is beginner friendly. This is not like yoga at a fitness club - the focus is spiritual, we practice in silence (no music) and we're working with our minds as much as the body.
Sample postures that we practice: Down Dog, Forward Fold, Triangle, Warrior, Pidgeon, Tree...
Suggested donation is $5 per class. A donation basket is placed in the back of the room near the mats.
We end the session with a short, interfaith spiritual talk and a five minute meditation.
This class is not set up for children. However, child care is offered for the Tuesday class.
Please contact me first before you bring your children.
This class is all about yoga as spiritual practice. Training the heart/mind along with the body. You are welcome to come if that is your intention and motivation.
Please bring a yoga mat if you have one.
