    If I were to bring a PCB and some chips, is there a reflow station there I could use? It's for my printer, and I have flux and paste and everything.

      not really. there is a way to do reflow, but we have no place to ventilate. :( Soon, we will be able to do manage fumes but we have to be patient for now.

      growing fingers in vats of goo but just for personal use. :) sorry, the real answer is it's an umbrella term for ways to fabricate objects from a digital (software) model. In addition to additive processes (3D printing being the one most available to hobbyists) it also encompasses subtractive processes such as CNC milling, routing, laser cutting among other technologies.
