Annual fundraiser, learn-to-solder classes, and community outreach, the RARSfest hamfest and electronics flea market is our chance to gain more exposure to the area and reach people who normally wouldn't know to look for us.
It is also a great opportunity to showcase projects we are working on, encourage folks to work on their own projects, and generally get involved in the greater Maker community.
We will be holding learn-to-solder classes, selling Velleman kits, and recouping equipment costs with the sale Mt. Doom items from our annual cleanup effort.
We will be setup next to tables for TriLUG and TriEmbed, so there should be plenty of opportunity for cross-pollinating interests and ideas. We will also be participating with TriEmbed in holding the Learn-To-Solder activities with electronics kits and parts.
If we get enough volunteers, we will be working in a couple of shifts -- some folks in the morning, some in the afternoon.
We hope to see you there!
PLEASE NOTE: We need volunteers to help unload and setup tables on Friday, April 18 at 3:00pm until 5:00pm. Please contact the organizer if you can help.
