Nonprofit technology consultant, iPhone carrier (yes, the disease pun is intended, I have a love hate relationship with it), lapsed Artificial Intelligence/Real Intelligence enthusiast, zen buddhist, and many other labels... :)
Cause Justis Peters says it rocks, and he is ALWAYS right about such things!
I'm happy to participate. I guess my feedback depends on what you're hoping to get out of the activity. For a speed networking/presentation experience, 3 minutes may be enough. To encourage further networking, you could have people find a partner and schedule a time to have lunch or a coke. To increase business capacity you might form mini- business councils (a mix of 5 or 6 non-profits, consultants, and funders) meet on a regular basis to get advice on business issues.
Hi Sean! Found this group and was thrilled to see you leading it. We should catch up and continue making the world a better place together.
Hey Sean! Good to "meet" you! I am a nonprofit consultant and coach, with more than 18 years experience as a fundraiser/development professionals for local and nonprofits. I am also a speaker, trainer and facilitator. If you find you need a speaker for 8/17, I'd love to come and speak. I have held two fundraising workshops through Project LIFT and know Barbara well. Regardless, I'll be there! Let me know if I can help in other ways! Best, Christine, www.NonprofitSupportSolutions.com.
Hi Sean Watson,

That's great Sean - your experience would definitely complement and extend mine. Judy suggested making Mobile Phones the focus of the February Meet-Up. Are you free this week or next to talk (phone, Skype or in person) about how we might structure a useful session? My home number is [masked], Skype: Lucy625, Mobile: [masked]
Hi Sean, thanks for the greeting! I wish I could attend the social tonight but I have pre-existing plans unfortunately. I'm looking forward to attending the group! Thanks :)
I am building an application and I have a question if it's better to host your own web server or paying someone else to host.
I am planning to host my own.
Is there someone already hosting their own website?
I would love to share my ideas after my application is completely done :)
