The Friends of Liberty Coalition of Eastern Washington & North Idaho (which includes C4L) will be hosting Sheriff Richard Mack on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Sheriff Mack will be speaking to concerned citizens at the Post Falls, Idaho Greyhound Park at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free. Donations will be gratefully accepted.

Sheriff Mack is the former sheriff of Graham County, Arizona, author of “The County Sheriff, America’s Last Hope” and a long-time crusader for freedom and individual rights. In 1994, he filed a lawsuit challenging the Brady bill to stop the federal government from forcing another unfunded mandate down the throats of state and local governments. The US Supreme Court sided with Mack on this issue citing State sovereignty. He now lectures on constitutional issues relating to gun control, law enforcement, States' rights, the drug war, and the oath of office.

Come out and hear one of the nation's strongest voices against tyranny!

Spokane & N Idaho C4L are major players in this event. If this one is successful, we hope to have other major speakers talk to us in the future. Please come out and support the effort. You will truly enjoy hearing Sheriff Mack. Representatives Matt Shea, 4th LD, WA and Phil Hart, 3rd LD, ID will also be speaking. We will need help in the booth. Please contact Rob or JC if you can assist us. Thanks! JC

This was a great event. Sheriff Mack was a wonderful speaker.
    •  I've been to all of the Tea Parties, which have been excellent; and, this meeting with Sheriff Mack and 2 of our local Representatives by far exceeded my expectations. I was pleased with the turnout and inspired by the messages given.
    •  about 1600 people were there? Great event. Was really impressed Sherriff Knezovich was there. Great speakers in Phil Hart and Matt Shea. Great to give out coins and booths were fantastic
    •  I was hoping for 1,000 attendees. Over 1,200 attended. Sheriff Mack, Matt Shea & Phil Hart did an exceptional job. Sheriff Knezovich from Spokane County & Sheriff Weeks from Bonner County had dinner with the speakers. Spokane & N Idaho C4L were major contributors to this event. Many thanks to Rob Chase for his vision and leadership, along with Leah S. Mike O, Chris B and Alanna G for their dedicated efforts. Also want to thank Janice & Tom M, Julian & Liz, Jerry V, Karen S, Ken G, Dave W, Tim C and the security detail (you know who you are)! I apologize if I forgot someone. All our Liberty partners in the coalition showed up and had info booths available. Overall, it was an extremely successful event. Next one is on Wednesday, Dec 2, 2009, same time, same station. See you there! JC
    •  It is always good to see a large croud of like minded people coming together - now, to keep it going with more 'issue' events with National speakers. I overheard some say there we around 3,000 people in attendance - not sure, but it was FULL when we arrived at 6:30PM It would have been GREAT to have the speakers area video to the two screens (which had no use until Mack was over - and tht is when everyone went home. Many of the audience were sitting up on the concourse - where they could not see the speakers. Video would have provided a more professional atmosphere - and, greater understandability of each speaker.
    •  It was well attended, with about 1000+ people attended, presumably organizers can tell us exactly because they gave away free raffle tickets for coin prizes given away including the top prize a 1oz Gold coin (thank you Coins Plus!), during the introduction of speakers. Lots of disaplay booths promoting various assundry conservative freedom loving groups. Cary Condotta did a great job of MC'ing; Phil Hart, Matt Shea both gave great speeches in turn before the headline inpirational speaker, sheriff Mack, who is truly a patriot hero, and great speaker. Mr Condotta asked for donations to cover the cost of renting the venue and there were maybe a dozen youth stationed at the exit collecting the donations. Seemed very well organized.
