The Friends of Liberty Coalition of Eastern Washington & North Idaho (which includes C4L) will be hosting Sheriff Richard Mack on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Sheriff Mack will be speaking to concerned citizens at the Post Falls, Idaho Greyhound Park at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free. Donations will be gratefully accepted.

Sheriff Mack is the former sheriff of Graham County, Arizona, author of “The County Sheriff, America’s Last Hope” and a long-time crusader for freedom and individual rights. In 1994, he filed a lawsuit challenging the Brady bill to stop the federal government from forcing another unfunded mandate down the throats of state and local governments. The US Supreme Court sided with Mack on this issue citing State sovereignty. He now lectures on constitutional issues relating to gun control, law enforcement, States' rights, the drug war, and the oath of office.

Come out and hear one of the nation's strongest voices against tyranny!

Alex Rion - Director of Washington State Campaign for Liberty will be here to inform and motivate us on how to renew the Ron Paul Freedom message for 2010, and also speak to the current status of Campaign for Liberty.

Before moving to Washington State this June, Alex was involved in the Michigan Ron Paul Movement and brings a lot of experience from years of political battles to the table. We are very excited about Alex's involvement and leadership.

We will also have an open bar with soft drinks, beer and wine and plenty of room to socialize and get to know one another better as we reminisce about old battles and prepare for new ones.

It is crucial that Eastern Washington, which is the strongest most Conservative, and Pro-Ron Paul area of the nation is well represented at this conference!

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Dear Friend of Liberty,

Memorial Day weekend is fast approaching, and we are excited about our Seattle Regional Conference to be held at the Doubletree Hotel Seattle Airport on May 22-24.

Congressman Ron Paul and New York Times bestselling author Tom Woods (Meltdown) will be featured on Friday night, May 22, at our free and open to the public Freedom Celebration. It is sure to be a tremendous time of education and inspiration.

Political training will take center stage on Saturday, May 23rd, as we bring experts to Seattle to strengthen your understanding of history and teach you how to recruit, train, equip, and mobilize for success. A highlight of this training will be Tom Woods' Foundations of Liberty School, The States vs. D.C.: Episodes in American History They Don't Teach in School.

Sunday, May 23, will be reserved for C4L member and state group meetings to build local networks and plan for future action.

As those who attended our St. Louis Conference know, C4L Regional Conferences strengthen your understanding of history and the foundational principles necessary to maintain liberty as well as teach you how to:

Persuasively communicate our movement's mission and message.

Recruit, train, equip, and mobilize a well-informed group of people to build the organizational structure necessary to win for freedom and liberty.

Influence the political process on the local, state, and national level.
Click here for full schedule, registration, travel, and hotel details. A special C4L room rate is available at the Doubletree Hotel on a first-come, first-serve basis.

With the tremendous momentum behind HR 1207, Congressman Paul's Audit the Fed bill, bringing cosponsors onto the bill faster than the Library of Congress' list can keep up, it is especially critical that we go into battle with a firm grasp of the political process and an understanding of how to most effectively articulate our message. Keep checking our Agenda page for more details on the training sessions.

As we get closer to Memorial Day weekend, space at the Conference is sure to fill up fast. Register today to reserve your spot!

Please join Neal Davis at the Moran Prairie Library as he provides an in-depth look at our U.S. Constitution. Nearly 50 people showed up for Neal's last class in March. This class is great for beginners and a wonderful refresher course.

The course will begin at 10:30 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m., with an hour for lunch in between.

See you there!

There sure are a wide variety of groups attending the Spokane Tea Party! How can the C4L build coalitions among these diverse organizations who believe in our pro-Constitution message of Liberty? Ron Paul showed us how freedom-loving patriots from across the political spectrum can come together if the principles and the message resonates.

Join David Moses and Ken Guidry as they explain to us how we can build upon Ron Paul's success by building a coalition in the Spokane-CD'A area. David will help us develop a better understanding of the various types of "political animals" that can be encountered in our quest to take the country back. And, he'll give you some ideas and tools on how to bring various camps together through persuasive means. Ken will describe how we can develop and use public opinion and political power through the strength of "ideas", and how we can develop trust, confidence, and commitment as we work toward the common goals of a sound government and thriving community.

By adding more voices to the choir, politicians at all levels will hear our message loudly & clearly, and government can be "for the people" once again.

Come catch the vision on Saturday, April 25th!
