You are embarking on a challenging and rewarding role in our group. It can be overwhelming and a little intimidating stepping up into an Organizer position but once you get the hang of using the system and knowing where to look for resources, it becomes very easy and fun! An assistant organizer helps with the planing and hosting of events. How do I become an Assistant Organizer?
If you are interested in being an assistant organizer, you must follow the group's policies, and:
*be active in the group
*be energetic about the group and their role
*be responsible
*be organized
*be willing to help the team reach their goals I'm an assistant organizer! What's expected of me?
Now that you are an assistant organizer, besides the requirements mentioned above, assistant organizers are expected to follow certain guidelines as follows:
*Please post/host (Host in meaning, show up and run the show, whether it be at a park, show, etc.) an event at least once a month.
*PLEASE stick to your specific duties. (Will be explain at time of 'promotion') If something needs to be done otherwise please contact the organizer to either get it taken care of or get permission to.
