The Alan Parsons Project (aka Laser Cutting 101)

This is a follow up to our Aug 22nd workshop. We will be heading to Brainstorm Laserworks in Kingston to play with the 40W Epilog laser cutter there. [Check them out here.] Take the skills you've built in our Inkscape workshops or on your own and learn the basics of operating this laser cutter.

We will most likely be working in paper or cardstock to keep things simple and quick enough to get through. The techniques you learn will transfer fairly easily to other materials.

This class is an intro only, and while you will learn the essentials of operating the laser, you will need to schedule a follow up session if you would like to operate the laser on your own. Details on the follow up session will be available at this workshop.

[Please note that the $25 fee is for members only. If you are not a Squidwrench member, the fee will be $75.]
