Learn to Program in Python with MIT's Online Course

We're having a weekly group workshop/office hours/study time for people interested in learning the Python programming language.

MIT Opencourseware Intro to Computer Science and Programing study group!

The course is available entirely online at:
http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/electrical-engineering-and-computer-science/6-00sc-introduction-to-computer-science-and-programming-spring-2011/index.htm

A reminder that Mac OS X and most Linux distributions ship with a version of Python that will work, and Windows's Python environment is actually pretty good and can be downloaded at http://www.python.org/download/ (try to have it installed before entering, as our internet is still metered and Mason pays directly for overages.)

Hope to see you there!

Is everyone @ different points in the lesson, or will I be behind everyone when I show up?

Don't worry about being behind. There have been some people joining late.
