i. Our Next Meetup--Web Mapping Part Two

Web mapping part two is fast approaching and I'm looking for some feedback--please send me the URLs of your favorite mashups, any development questions, and/or any tutorial requests. If there are any particular topics or technologies other than Google (ESRI, Microsoft, Yahoo, etc.) you'd like to cover, let me know.

ii. The Google Maps API Challenge

At the end of our last meetup, we announced the first NY Web Standards contest: The Google Maps API Challenge. Between now and our next meetup, submit the URL of a mashup you built with Google Maps. During the meetup, the group will look at all of the submitted mashups and vote on which one they feel is best.

The prize: a Mechanism martini glass. Woo woo!

This contest is open to all NY Web Standards Meetup members as of 25 January 2008. Please note you must be present to vote and win.

iii. Meetup Poll

What is the best time for the Standardista Meetup? Let us know if you'd rather start at 5:30, 6:00, 6:30, or 7:00.

v. Present!

Please contact us if you'd like to present at the March or April meetup.

Thanks again,

Jeffrey Barke
