27 March 2008 . Version Targeting and IE 8

You may have read about it at A List Apart and 456 Berea St, but for those who haven't and for those who don't understand what the fuss is all about, Jeffrey Barke (senior developer and information architect at theMechanism) will lead a discussion on Internet Explorer 8 and version targeting.

The Beta 1 testing process for IE 8 has begun, so now is the time to find out what version targeting means for how your websites will function in the near future.

Prior to the discussion, there will be a brief period for announcements. Afterwards, there will be an optional "show and tell" session. Show off sites you're currently working on and get design feedback and technical assistance.
