Hi Matt, The Reader may well be running another script/screen writing course in the new year. You can keep updated by checking out the website (thereaderberli, or following us on facebook. Or email [masked] and I'll put you on the mailing list. The current course is a workshop rather than teaching script writing from the ground up. You submit work and have it critiqued by the class and CJ Hopkins. Thanks for your interest and hope to meet you in person one day!

At home I study German, History, and "Int Studies" which I don't think should be a discipline by itself. Its a cool uni but its so far away from the center that I wish I had just chosen HU

    Hi Matt,

I also moved here from Austin. I am originally from Greece but lived in Austin for 4.5 years (after 2 years in Pittsburgh). I went to the german meetup a few times at the dog&duck pub. Yes, Austin is a pretty cool town. Town lake, south congress, KB pancakes, cool bars..
Anyway it's good to find the group, and I hope to make it to the jazz place next Wednesday.
