Michael Anderson - Michael is a high profile business investor with extensive experience at raising finance and managing several small companies. His portfolio of private company investments as a business angel included Cobra Beer. Currently, he is a Director of Business Plan Services (www.bizplans.co.uk) and non-executive director of three companies, one in pasta manufacturing, one in data collection for mapping, and one in the field of regenerative medicine. He is the co-author of Successful Business Plans.
Richard Cook - Richard's first business success was building one of the largest chains of estate agents in home counties, which he then sold in late 80s. Following that he built up a small publishing business, two restaurant and bar chains, then became one of the founding partners of the largest UK cheque cashing business and a financial loan franchise. At present, he is investor in a wide range of businesses and a Trustee of Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Rowena Irosnside - Rowena brings 30 years experience in the ICT industry into her business angel investments. In the 1980’s she was the founder of Mentis Computing, a professional services company that was successfully sold after 4 years of growth. Rowena now works as a non-executive and business advisor with a variety of young companies, both commercial and not-for-profit. She is Director of Cupcake Mum, the members’ club for mums and mums-to-be, and COO of The Prince’s Rainforests Project.
Andy Tait - Andy is an Associate Partner at Pembridge Partners LLP, helping SME’s in multiple markets navigate their way to growth and success. Prior to that, Andy has co-founded and served on the boards of a number of both private and publicly listed companies in the UK and USA. His companies are in entertainment media and information technology sectors, including mobiles and games. He was so far instrumental in fundraisings totaling more than £60m.
