I have the great pleasure announcing one of the best banker speakers I know: Paul Nicoll, Triodos Bank's Regional Manager for London & the South East. Paul will talk about the origins and workings of Triodos and why they are different than the likes of HSBC, Lloyds TSB or Barclays. He will show some examples of the projects he helped to finance. He will also cover aspects of how small businesses should approach banks for finance and who could most benefit from the alternative resources ethical banks offer. His talk will be followed by an extended Q&A session and networking time.

Paul has over 20 years professional banking experience, including roles as a Credit Analyst, Project Implementation Manager and Senior Customer Relationship/Lending Manager in the general commercial sector. He joined Triodos in 2006, to focus exclusively on businesses and charities that combine financial sustainability with social and environmental concerns. He works alongside a team of specialist managers providing banking services and finance to meet the needs of values-led enterprises. Paul is also Trustee of a local environmental and educational charity.
