Our next XcellR8 meeting will be Thursday, October 10th - 8:00 am at Nerac.
It was a few weeks ago that John and Jen Muller shared their thoughts on marketing – and why it’s so important to understand your customer. Following up on the “why” question, I heard from a number of you who are interested in the “how” or “what comes next” aspect. I count myself in that group – clearly marketing is important, but I struggle with what approach, process, messaging and measures come next…
Jeffrey Cohen from Image Works approached me following that particular XcellR8 session and we engaged in a robust discussion focused on a number of “what comes next” marketing issues. I found the insights he offered useful (so useful in fact that we’ve begun to implement them at Nerac) and Jeffrey has agreed to share them in a presentation to the group on the 10th.
A number of the experiences and key drivers Jeffrey will disclose directly relate to the search engine algorithm changes enacted by Google via Hummingbird. http://searchengineland.com/hummingbird-has-the-industry-flapping-its-wings-in-excitement-reactions-from-seo-experts-on-googles-new-algorithm-173030 Those insights alone are worth the price of admission J
In short. if you’re a startup looking to understand or improve connectivity with prospective customers, if you struggle with how to fill the lead funnel with qualified opportunities, if you’re wondering about how to create an “offer and ask,” if you want to jump to the top of the organic search results page, then this particular XcellR8 session is a must attend for you.
Please do let me know if you’ll be joining us. I look forward to seeing you. Thank you
