Shoot, I'll be traveling for work. Will you guys be recording the PostGIS talk? I'd love to see it :)

I am also going to record a screencasts on the PostGIS talk after its over. Will share a link.
Hey Mark, I can talk a little Docker if we have some time to fill out.

That would be awesome Fletcher, especially given your experience with Chef. :-)
We're still looking for a few more speakers for this Tuesday's meetup. If you've been up to fun Ruby things this summer, come share. Would love to see a Docker demo! :)
Mitre Media has just offered to pick up the pizza tab this month. Thanks guys! :)

Hey everyone! It's the end of summer, and we're back to bring you another exciting year of Ruby meetups. The first big news, is that we're going to be moving downtown to Startup Edmonton. The UofA has been a fantastic venue for the past two years, and we're hoping to continue hosting events there but for selfish reasons (the birth of my son! :)) I'd like to move the meetup downtown and closer to my home.
Our first meetup is going to cover a few things:
* Organising teams and preparing for the Rails Rumble this October 19-20* Understanding spatial data with PostGIS and Rails
We're also looking for more speakers, so if you're interested please let us know on Twitter @yegrb, or by leaving a comment below. See you soon!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
