GameCamp Edmonton Meetup

Gamepub is our monthly meetup that brings together the Edmonton game development community (developers, students, hobbyists and friends in the tech industry) for an opportunity to enjoy a few talks, chat with peers and help network and advocate our great industry.

This month's event brings us a very special headliner, Tommy Lewis from Microsoft Canada. Tommy is not only our local regional rep for Western Canada but he is also a strong advocate and knowledgable expert on all things "Entertainment" related at Microsoft. This includes Windows, WindowsPhone, Window Store and Xbox, all of which he will be gladly talking about (as well as other programs and advantages that Microsoft is offering).

Additional talks this month will be from the following:
- James Simmons (Syndicate Alpha)
- More speakers to come.

GameCamp Edmonton is an industry Special Interest Group whose goals it is to help network, profile and promote the rich and diverse game development industry in Edmonton.

We invite you all to please join us for our monthly meetups. Friends, co-workers, students and those working in similar media and entertainment industries are all invited to attend for the talks and we certainly hope that you will stick around afterwards to network with your peers, ask development questions, and learn more about the industry in general (likely over a few beers shared at a nearby establishments).
