The Hunt + Gather Presents: Aaron Draplin

The Hunt + Gather is a meetup/gathering for designers of all shapes, sizes and disciplines. It is a carving out of time and energy for inspiration, learning and collaboration. As designers, we borrow, steal, collect and horde from our surroundings, our communities and our peers. The Hunt + Gather is our opportunity to make our design community more vibrant and connected in a tangible, personal way.

We're excited for our first event featuring renowned designer, Aaron Draplin, of Draplin Design Co., creator of Field Notes:

Location: MacEwan University, Robbins Health and Learning Center, Kule Theatre (9-323)
Tickets: $25 - Buy tickets here

Located in the mighty Pacific Northwest, the Draplin Design Co. proudly rolls up its sleeves on a number of projects related to the Print, Identity, Web Development, Illustration and Gocco Muscle categories. DDC makes stuff for Coal Headwear, Union Binding Co., Richmond Fontaine, Nike, Wired, Timberline, Target, Ford, Hutchco, TImberline Lodge, Patagonia, Chunklet, Incase, Giro, Cobra Dogs, Burton Snowboards, Hughes Entertainment, Chuck Prophet, Field Notes and even the Obama Administration, if you can believe that. We pride ourselves on a high level of craftsmanship and quality that keeps us up late into the wet Portland night.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
