Exit Through the Elevator - Artwalk+Entrepreneurs = Amazing!

  • November 6, 2013 · 5:30 PM

You learn by doing and that's what we are into at StartupJax. Jeremy Vaughan, Jessie Shternshus (improveffect.com), and myself will be hosting our Create and Learn workshop called: Exit through the elevator.

We'll be splitting into teams (if you have a company bring everybody and have your own team). We'll then create an idea and then go out and get immediate feedback during ArtWalk. It's a great exercise that we use at Ignite to learn how to get out of the building and learn what your customers really want.

Be here by 5:30. You'll have 30 mins to meet some awesome people. We promptly will start at 6:00pm.

It's ArtWalk night and a perfect time to be downtown. We'll be done before 8, just in time to continue the festivities afterwards.

If you have questions, post them on the wall.

Since parking was/is an issue check this out. "Can you imagine what this downtown might look like without all those parking garages? Bring on the driverless car! If our cars have the ability to drop us off and pick us up with the swipe of a touchscreen, what will these acres and acres and acres of city land turn into?" http://freakonomics.com/2013/11...

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
