Welcome to the group I have ridden with a lot of these people over the years. You wont find a better group to help you learn and grow your skills over time. Just keep the pickles away from Eric.

Sarah, thanks for finding us online! I enjoyed meeting you in Ojai this past weekend. We had a great time on our ride through Carizzo Plain National Monument and then up through Pozo and camping at Hi Mountain. We actually came back down through Santa Barbara and ate the Cold Springs Tavern. Keep your eyes open for any rides you'd like to do. Also check out californiaadven I will try and put you in touch with Maria who also lives in SB.

Welcome to the group, Sarah! Props to you for going with a motorcycle over a scooter. Motorcycles are so much cooler! For a beginner bike, I highly recommend a 250cc Kawasaki Ninja. That is the ideal beginner's sport bike. Very affordable, very solid, a great performer for its class, cheap and easy to work on, reliable, cool-looking... I could go on. The Ninjette was my first bike and it will always have a special place in my heart.
