There were two "tracks" of this meeting - one with Antonio and with Zane. Both were worthwhile, but where opposite ends of the "expertise" range. Very happy to get whatever information I could from both. Antonio's presentation went on a bit too long, but the information was worth the time invested. Thanks!

Thanks everyone for coming out to the event on a great Saturday afternoon. i think we got the combination right this time. We will do more events next month on WordPress and lookout for WordPress Academy and a new face for WordPress in the very near future.

Thanks for organizing the meetup. I found myself between technical expertise this weekend. This meet up was too basic for me. The other was too advanced. Hope for more intermediate meets in the future. Thanks for all are doing.

Antonio has great energy and I rate him a 10. I loved the step-by-step method of posting to a test WordPress site to get my feet wet - thanks. Met lots of people and I think this is a wonderful forum. Opportunities for improvement: harness the energy just a bit. Sometimes my head was spinning with the many divergences into other subjects.

Thanks Dawn. I will send the list shortly. Everything but the polling/surveying is supported by most themes. Now all you really have to do is find the best theme that supports what type of consulting, target audience and is easy to manage. Best polling/surveying I have seen is via Poll Daddy plugin which includes shortcode support to place the poll anywhere in your content.

This is for a consulting business--more or less my electronic brochure, but I plan to include video, surveys/polling, perhaps a blog, and other items to make it more interactive and less static.

Dawn I will send you a recommended list of things to look for via private message. Could you send me what type of business model/use case are you trying to support. Tony

Do you have any advice/checklist on selecting a theme? At the last session I attended, you recommended that you really check out the theme you want, but how do I know what to check for? Thanks for any advice.
