Hi Matt, welcome to DetroitRuby! JRuby has been brought up in the past and I'm sure there would be interest in it. Also we tend to be flexible as far as time slots go. We do lean more towards the web side of the Ruby spectrum so possibly a how to get started and where to go from there type of talk would be good. I'll be sure to bring this up at our July meeting and maybe we can work out a balance.
