I paddle this one a lot. I've never been able to go upstream more than a couple hundred feet. Too many trees down to get through. But the other direction is a nice paddle. It opens up the closer you get to the St Johns. I typically go about 2.5 miles to where it opens up and loses interest, and then turn around and go back. If you go all the way to the river, it's about 4 miles for a total of 8 miles round trip.
