1880's Fancy Dress Ball! (E.O.I.)

When: Friday, April 26th 8:00 p.m.

Where: Brooklyn Fire Proof East
119 Ingraham St, New York, NY 11237

Learn to dance in the elegance of the late 19th Century with world-renowned dance historian and instructor Susan de Guardiola. Put on your finest period garb, Steampunk attire, or just dress to impress for an evening of ballroom dancing.
Doors open at 8:00 p.m. for a one hour dance lesson for those new or a bit unfamiliar with this style of dance. Afterwards there is a FULL TWO HOURS of proper ballroom dancing.  Brooklyn’s newest performance space and cafe/bar, Brooklyn Fire Proof East, will be our host for the evening. They offer a great menu!

Many of you have approached us and inquired about if we were ever going to plan a fine evening of period dance. Well, we have and it's actually the opening event for this year's 'NYC 19th Century Extravaganza!'
We have also worked hard to keep it affordable!

Tickets are a mere $20.00 and you can guarantee a place for yourself and company by purchasing tickets in advance at:

So join us and all your friends in starting off this year’s NYC 19th Century Extravaganza in style!

For more info on what our instructor for the evening has to offer please visit:

You must be 21+ to attend this event.

This is an E.O.I. (Event of Interest) meet up. As such it is not planned, organized, or hosted by NY Steampunk-Artists and Enthusiasts who assume no responsibility for its content. (However we really think you would have a great time at it!)

Need some wardrobe suggestions? Perhaps a bit of background history?

That's quite fine by us! If you purchase your tickets in advance you can guarantee as many guests as you like.
