I was a Steeler fan growing up when Cliff Stoudt was the backup QB and the TV announcer mistakenly referred to our favorite QB as "Berry Tadshaw."
I actually like mathematics and still don't understand why it's not more popular, though I must admit I do have trouble making myself read statistics books.

Good natured Steeler fans. Friendship with people of Pittsburgh heritage. Help with away game tickets. Game time camaraderie. Meeting some really nice players. Raffles where many people can win.

James, I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner; I was in the middle of moving (from Ballston to Crystal City). I just got my internet hooked up here the other day. Do you plan on coming to the meetup on July 10? I hope to see you there. - Umar
We can meet next to the Chick Fillet. I can bring a Modern Algebra book...that should be obvious.
Which lectures are you referring to? Lectures associated with that Springer book you just mentioned?
Thanks for coming to our Merriweather event. I looked for you yesterday. Hope to see again soon!
Hi James. Welcome to our Steelers fan club. It's always great to see new members. I saw you rsvp'd maybe to our event tomorrow with Mike Merriweather. I hope you can make it. It's our biggest event of the year and I'm really excited about it. We have a lot planned for tomorrow to make it special, including raffling off 6 Steelers autographed photos of Hines Ward, James Harrison and Troy Polamalu, among others. Hope to see you there. I'm looking forward to meeting you!
Ack! Sorry to hear that, call my cell if you can't get in next time: [masked]
Welcome!
The publisher of that book also has a screencast you might like:

Hi James. Yes, that infamous SICP class! For some wierd reason, we spent some time talking about SICP during our last Erlang get-together! ;)
