STEPPIN' AFTERWORK AT BLEU VIOLIN
Chicago Style" Steppin' meets its historical roots in Harlem!
Wednesday, March 20, 2013
Join us next Wednesday at a different spot. We will be steppin' at a cool Harlem lounge -- Bleu Violin. The vibe of this lounge goes perfect with cool steppin' music.
Steppin' has a long and soulful history and the dance is a descendant of the Lindyhop and Jitterbug, which originated at venues like the Cotton Club and Savoy Ballroom. Steppin' was made famous by R Kelly's video - Step In The Name of Love and the movie Love Jones.
We are proud and excited to keep Steppin' alive in Harlem, as we continue to teach this brilliant art form and find great places in Harlem to have "Steppin' Sets". If you live Uptown and haven't made it out yet, this is a great opportunity to be a part of this set.
1400 5th Street at 116th Street, Harlem, NY
Stepper Set and beginner's lesson starts at 6pm, No partner necessary!

Hope to see you out!
