Thank you for saying hello Keith! I have been blessed in the field of politics which brought me to the corporate seed and V.C. world. However the body of my fulfillment in life has been in working with the betterment of the community. I have a tendency to make things happen and bring people with me while doing so. I am from Monterey, Ca and spent the last 10 years in Los Gatos (Silicon Valley) Being new to Utah, I'm surfing for something to help make a contribution or start something new.
Thanks for the greeting! I'm hoping that I will be able to make it to the next co-founders meetup. I'm in Midway so it's a little bit of a hike for me unfortunately.
I haven't done anything in Ruby to date but am always interested in adding to my skills. It would be interesting to talk more about your project and see what I could do. I can't imagine that it would be too difficult to get up to speed on Ruby.
I really appreciate your feedback Keith. Although I could name a limited number of "things" we are out to disrupt in Disruptor Nation, I've chosen to leave that decision to the Disruptors. My goal is to get Disruptors from various industries together to share ideas that can mate and reproduce better designed and maybe slightly unconventional ideas. If your focus is on decentralizing markets, great! Come share your knowledge and experience with entrepreneurs and artists who could benefit from it.
Thanks Keith. That sounds like an interesting premise for a book. I think there is a place for blind optimism, but when you are trying to bring a company to market I’d rather have optimism as close to 20/20 as possible. See you tomorrow night…
Welcome to We Are Change Utah Keith, I look forward to meeting you at one of our upcoming events.
I have 18 years of experience as a software developer, most recently Ruby on Rails and Android. I am looking at analyzing Google Play to pick nitches for Android apps that are moving up, pick the nitches that are ripe, nail the nitch, and repeat. Each exercise will be concept to revenue in 30 days. I need developers, business types and designers.
Sounds very interesting, I majored in graphic design / art in college and worked on the school newspaper extensively before moving over to computer science. Sounds like a very interesting business model, we should meet and discuss further.
I know very little of Ruby, but I do know UI/UX. Mind me asking why Ruby, is your web platform already coded in Ruby? You can generally reach me at dwl (at) solarion-id com, but that domain is in transistioning and will not be available until July 24th. If you intend to reach me before then, drop me a line at mrp (at) mrandmrspet com
Hi Keith, thanks for reaching out. I'd definitely be interested in speaking with you at the meetup and hearing more about your online learning experiences and what you have planned.
I'll make it a point to find you, looking forward to speaking with you soon.
All the best,
